There are almost no problems with logging in, it works fine even on my weak laptop, there are relatively few bugs, but the most important thing is, of course, a number of very correct design decisions that make the gameplay easy, enjoyable and attractive.
The guys from Respawn it turned out, one might say, the ultimate Battle Royale. They adopted several successful and working parts from the main online games of recent years, added a few of their own, and implanted it all into a still warm corpse Titanfall 3, and voila, the result is a kind of “monster” Respawn. Let us now try to consider the main parts of this creation and their possible beginning. It’s very annoying. A small map is the best option, so you have a guaranteed chance to at least shoot, (damn it) and even if you happen to die, you don’t have time to get upset, because how long did this match last? Five to ten minutes? It doesn’t matter. Plus, the gameplay AL built very quickly and dynamically, and simply requires immediate collisions.

2.Multi-colored loot.
Marking equipment levels using logical colors is very appropriate for the aforementioned gameplay dynamics. Getting the best gear quickly is the key to surviving in any BR. Even for those who do not often play battle royale games, or games at all, it will be clear that gray is trash and gold is top.

3.Damage amount.
Here, as in Fortnite when you hit an enemy, numbers appear out of it showing the damage done; from them you can understand whether you hit the head or body, or what level of armor the enemy has. Of course, this takes time to figure out, and many people can be put off by so much different loot, so in order to balance everything Respawn adds something similar to PUBG the depth of the loot, but simplifies everything by marking it with the aforementioned colored marks. At first, you simply navigate by color, say, take whichever is brighter, but over time you begin to understand how everything works and what exactly you need for a more comfortable game.

I think it’s also worth saying that in a March interview with Respawn from Game Informer, a representative of the developers mentioned that they borrowed the idea of ​​​​locking some characters behind game currency from the game Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. Dying is always unpleasant, especially if you only have one chance, but don’t worry, Apex gives you a second (or even a third, if you consider that you can be raised before you are completely finished off) in the form of rebirth points. In order to revive you, teammates need to do two things: take the banner from your corpse and run to the yet unused revival point. This does come down to the loyalty and skill of your teammates, but despite everything, this mechanic, combined with the dynamism of the gameplay, is an incredible generator of epic moments, and therefore stories, for you and your friends and also alleviates the frustration of deaths.

Revive points and flags have recently been added to Fortnite, and there, to put it mildly, they feel not entirely appropriate in comparison with how it is built in Arekh. While Arekh, initially included these features taking into account its dynamics, and exclusively for team play, Fortnite added them only because so many people praised these particular functions. A Epic, being the kings of BR, they want to be trendy and remain on their throne. Perhaps these are just nitpicking and all this will change for the better, but for now it looks like a pursuit of popularity.

I wouldn’t like to ignore another one of the most popular BRs – Call of Duty Blackout. I didn’t have the opportunity to play it, so I can’t form a full opinion in the context of everything described above. Although recently the hype around it has been slowly fading away – a drop in views on all popular platforms, some are even disbanding their e-sports teams, not believing in the future of the game. People get carried away very quickly and lose interest even faster, and judging by the plan Respawn, they are not going to keep it constantly updated and add content regularly (like in Fortnite for example), and therefore risk losing a good part of their players.
